Zeroday Brewing To Expand To Three Locations; Increasing Brewing Capacity

(HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania) Zeroday Brewing Company in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is undergoing a major expansion, which will increase its production capacity and see the opening of 3 new retail locations over the course of the next two years. This Summer, the original taproom at 250 Reily St. in Harrisburg will close, and the space will be utilized exclusively for beer production. A new Midtown taproom will open at 925 N. 3rd St, and a new Zeroday Outpost will open in the Midtown Cinema Lobby at 250 Reily St. Another Zeroday retail location will open in partnership with the creative minds of Shakedown BBQ at the new Susquehanna Union Green Development in Susquehanna Township in 2021.

Zeroday will immediately increase its production output from 700 barrels of beer in 2019 to over 1,500 barrels in 2020. At full capacity, the brewery will be able to produce up to 5,000 barrels per year. The expanded production facility will feature a larger brewhouse and fermenters, a canning line, and other upgraded equipment.

The 925 N. 3rd St. Taproom will have a capacity of 150 people with various indoor seating options and an outdoor courtyard. The new taproom will include a dedicated event space that can be utilized in various capacities and will accommodate up to 60 people. The taproom will feature a small-batch brewery, as well as a dedicated barrel room for wood-aged and sour beers. The taproom will be full service with a Mexican/Tapas menu from the team at Cork and Fork Osteria.

250 Reily St. will still have a Zeroday retail location. The bar and fixtures from the original taproom will be moved to the lobby of the Midtown Cinema. This location will become “The Zeroday Outpost at the Midtown Cinema”. This counter-service concept will offer customers a menu of made-to-order sandwiches, salads, and soups. Midtown Cinema patrons will have the option to take single beers or 32 oz. Crowlers into the theater.

Both the Zeroday Outpost at the Midtown Cinema and the 925 N. 3rd St. Taproom will open this Summer. The partnership at Susquehanna Union Green is projected to begin construction this fall and open in the Summer of 2021.

Zeroday has been brewing craft beer in Midtown, Harrisburg since early 2015 and poured its first pint at the 250 Reily St. taproom in April 2015. The Zeroday Outpost at the Broad St. Market opened July 2017.
