The City Of Phoenixville Opens Its Ninth Brewery Taproom

We spend a large majority of our time traveling the state exploring craft beer. One question we always get is about the “craft beer bubble”. When so many breweries open that it will eventually burst.

One answer we give to that question is to look at the city of Phoenixville. A city that has been ranked top 10 in the country for brewery per capita.

And that number continues to expand as Root Down Brewing recently opened a taproom inside of the home of Uncle B’s BBQ.

This marks the ninth brewery taproom that can be found in Phoenixville. The new space is just a short walk from their main brewery…also located in Phoenixville.

The brewery will brew beers to pair exclusively with the menu offered by Uncle B’s. The new space is located at 425 Bridge Street in Phoenixville. Make sure to check out our map to see the growth this city…and all of Pennsylvania… has to offer!
