According to multiple social media posts from St. Benjamin Brewing Company, the brewery will close It’s doors permanently on May 5th, 2019.
The closure comes as the building they were occupying has been sold. The buyers were not interested in keeping the brewery in the building, and are looking to develop the property for residential space.
Both parties have been relatively quiet on this transaction, so unfortunately there aren’t any additional details to relay on the purchase. The current owner will be pursuing other interests and will no longer be operating Saint Benjamin as a brewpub/taproom or brewery.
Saints Benjamin will be operating as usual until their final shift on Saturday, May 4th.
