On Saturday, June 19th, Howling Henry’s Brewery and Tap Room will give patrons an opportunity to meet Walter and Lola, two of the beagles featured on many of its product labels. Visitors can also make a free-will donation and learn more about SOS Beagle rescue (Save Our Snoopies).
SOS Beagle Rescue is a non-profit organization, dedicated to the placement of abandoned and neglected beagles. SOS provides all rescued dogs with veterinary care, behavioral evaluation, socialization and humane training so that every dog placed through SOS is given the best chance possible to live out his/her life fully in a loving, permanent home. Both of Howling Henry’s current dogs, Walter (Sur a Rye Doh) and Lola (Lolager) are SOS Beagle rescues. To learn more, visit www.sosbeagles.org
Howling Henry’s Brewery has been in operation since 2015. The Tap Room opened in October 2020, in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Current product offerings span traditional styles such as the Black Tail Stout, the Hummelstown Bock Party Seasonal Maibock, to more unique BOPA (Basil Onion Pale Ale).
