Lindgren Craft Brewery Plans To Open In Former Duncannon National Bank

As we are continuously sharing, Pennsylvania craft beer growth continues to rise. With so many breweries in Pennsylvania expected to open, the keystone state is in no craft beer shortage. You can add Lindgren Craft Brewery to that ever-growing list.

The future brewery plans to open in the former Duncannon National Bank building located at 5 Market Street in Duncannon, PA.

According to records, the Duncannon Bank was built in 1889 and was the first building in Perry County to be 100% devoted to banking operations. The bank even issued their own branded money due to laws and regulations at the time.

For many, this is not the first time hearing about Lindgren. As you may have seen on their social media channels, the brewery has been pouring its beer at events all across the state and regularly releasing cans to the public.

If you’re as much of a fan of Pennsylvania craft beer as we are, there is another fun fact to know about the brewery. Over the years they have spent countless hours researching a style known as Pennsylvania Swankey. They have traveled far and wide, interviewing beer historians to piece together this historic style that originated in Western PA. And are one of the few breweries in the world that continue to produce the style.

The brewery continues to rehab the bank to provide a location that locals can be proud of. To stay up to date on the brewery and the build-out of the space make sure to follow them on Instagram and Facebook.
