Introducing “Trellis”; A Triple Beer Collaboration Plus New Trail/ Warwick Tap Takeover In Philly

Introducing “Trellis“, a collaboration between Breweries In PA, New Trail Brewing, and Warwick Farm Brewing. With New Trail and Warwick Farm both focusing on extremely popular hop-forward IPA’s (among many other beers) the style of this beer was a perfect fit for all brands involved.

What is in the name? A Trellis is the structure hop bines need to grow towards the sun; an integral part of cultivating the ingredient we all love to experiment with.

Beer Details

Trellis is a 9% hazy double IPA born out of a friendship between the three brands, and the idea was to nerd out on hops! Brewed with fluffy oats and hopped heavily with Citra, HBC 586, and Sabro. HBC 586 is a new experimental hop from the Yakima Valley known for its high tropical notes. Beer fans can expect notes of tangerine, ripe pineapple juice, papaya, and some additional deep tropical citrus.

Brew day

We did say the idea was to nerd out on hops, as they’re the exciting ingredient in IPA’s. Just like New Trail and Warwick Farm’s beers, there are new innovations coming from the Growers in the Pacific Northwest all the time. They found HBC 586 and knew it had the potential to be one of the next big hops.

This beer will be available on shelves across Pennysylvania, starting on Monday, May 31st. Make sure to seek this one out, you won’t want to miss trying it!
