Hares Hill Brewing Opens Taproom With Tony Joe’s Restaurant In Pottstown

Hares Hill Brewing Company has been putting out cans for months now at Stonehouse Grille, and a few beer shops in the immediate area. Now they have partnered with a local restaurant to open their own taproom in Pottstown, PA.

The brewery has teamed with Tony Joe’s House Of Great Eats, located at 1161 Ridge Road in Pottstown. This location has a 12 seat bar in the taproom, with additional table seating, and is accompanied by their own beer garden.

The taproom was previously used by another local brewery and has undergone many changes to offer guests a unique dining experience. The entire space has been rebranded and redecorated. To start, Hares Hill has 6 beers on tap currently, with additional cans available as well. The brewery is planning to host a grand opening in mid-summer for all guests to enjioy.

Hares Hill Brewing Company was founded by owner Bill Rutter at 1300 Hares Hill Road in Kimberton, in the Stonehouse Grille. Rutter is also the owner of Stonehouse and is a chef by trade. The brewery has been contract-brewing at Stable 12 since starting, and plan on continuing this for the next few years.
