Grand Opening: Troubles End Brewing March 5th (Collegeville)

The craft beer scene in Montgomery County continues to grow as Troubles End Brewing opens in Collegeville on Thursday, March 5th. The will be opening in the former Appalachian Brewing location at 50 W Third Ave.

We recently visited with the team behind Trouble’s End to learn more about what locals can expect. The partners in the brewing operation are brothers Dave and Nick Bellenzeni, brewer Zach Svoboda and Casey Parker.

Most notably, the brewery will open with a full bar and restaurant license. This is important to know because it means the brewery will offer much more for guests to enjoy. Drinks will include a rotating tap list of the breweries offerings along with taps from guest breweries such as Tired Hands and Russian River. This also means the brewery will be able to offer out of state wine and spirits.

The beer will be brewed in a 7 bbl brewhouse lead by Zach Svoboda who was most recently the lead brewer at Forest And Main Brewing in Ambler. The 25 rotating taps will offer beer as well as kegged wine and cocktails. The beer will come fresh from the brand new cooler behind the bar with some of the beer being served directly from serving tanks. As Dave mentioned, “quality of not just beer, but the lines they travel are important as well”.

Along with the beer, the brewery will also offer a full kitchen menu that goes well beyond “pub fare”. A full menu of both adult and kid-friendly meals will be available. The kitchen will be spearheaded by chef Kris Serviss, who owns Culture on the Circle in Philadelphia, and previously Taqueria del Norte and Blue Duck.

Casey Parker is not new to the restaurant industry himself. He’s widely recognizable in the Philadelphia community as one of the owners of the Pistola’s bar-restaurants. His vision is to take what he has perfected in the city and expand for all suburbians to enjoy.

The space will offer room for as many as 200+ guests, 25 rotating taps, live music regularly as well as private space for parties. As seen in the picture above they will also have arcade and table games for guests to enjoy as well.

This is sure to be a very unique location for the area to enjoy. Follow along with their growth on Facebook and Instagram.
