Forest & Main Brewing To Move And Expand With TWO New Locations

Forest & Main Brewing, located in Ambler, is planning a large expansion and move from 61 North Main Street into TWO (yes two) new locations.

They’re currently in the process of building a 15bbl brewery and taproom just a few blocks north on Main Street (241 North Main Street) from their current location. Their increased capacity will allow them to make more of saisons, lots of oak-aged beers, pub beers, lagers, and lots of hoppy IPAs.⁣ This large production facility will have a bar, an outdoor deck, and space for events.

F&M also plans to open a pub as their second location. This new pub will be located at 33 East Butler Ave. They’re aiming to build a cozy spot to serve beer right downtown in Ambler. This location is anticipated to be opening soon, so stay tuned.

Leaving behind the iconic Victorian house that has become synonymous with Forest & Main’s brand is hard, and here is what they had to say about the move:

“The hardest part of these changes is that we’ll be leaving our current locations at the House and the NewSpace. In so many ways this old Victorian house has become so iconic to what Forest and Main is. It is hard to picture F&M existing without that yellow house. But for so many reasons, it is truly the right decision for us to leave the property, like a fluffy little bird moving to a new nest. It’ll be sad for sure, and we will clearly miss our time here, but we feel that beyond the physical space, what makes Forest and Main so special is all the people who work here, the people who drink here, and the good vibes we all share. We know we can bring those vibes wherever we land and we can’t wait to be with you again soon.⁣”

⁣In the meantime, the brewery will continue to sell packaged beer out of the “NewSpace”, which is the building right next to the Victorian House. We will continue to update with more details on Forest & Main’s two new locations as they are available.
