Ten7 Brewing Company will be officially opening in North Wales, PA towards the end of summer. And if you have been following along their journey you know that North Wales is in for a real treat. Having won multiple awards, such as Best New Brewery at the Conshohocken Beer Fest and Top 3 Best Brewery at the Pottstown Brew Fest, Ten7 may not be open yet but their beer has clearly made an impact.
The brewery and taproom will open soon at 510 Beaver Street in North Wales, a convenient 50 foot walk (give or take) from the North Wales train station. Recently we toured the location with the team behind Ten7 (pictured below).
The name Ten7 comes from Bob’s experience in law enforcement. You may be very familiar with the police term 10-4; meaning you understand a command. The term 10-7 means an officer is out of service, hence the name Ten7 was born.
The 3,600 square foot North Wales location will host a 10 barrel brew system with five fermenters. The cooler will be located directly behind the bar which will allow Ten7 to pour right from the tanks! (As fresh as you can get). Beyond the beer, they will also serve cold brewed coffee and non alcoholic drinks as well.
We were lucky enough to visit Ten7 the day they received the keys to the brewery earlier this year. We then went back once equipment began to be installed. See the taproom during our first visit and now with their tanks in place.

When they open they plan to serve anywhere from four to six beers, with the capacity to fill their ten tap system as they continue to grow. And one thing we can tell you, there is plenty of room for them to grow. Outside of the taproom they will also have a 1,500 square foot outdoor seating area as well as another large room that can be used for private events.

As we said, Ten7 is just a short walk from the North Wales train station. While this exciting brewery will create a lot of buzz for the local community, they are also just a quick train ride from Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs.
It has been a pleasure watching Ten7 grow. Not only have we visited their future brewery, we have also been lucky enough to try some of the award winning beer. All we can say is we are counting down the days to when this becomes more accessible.
