We always say that what we do can be bitter sweet. We love the growth PA is experiencing in craft beer. But as with every industry, nothing lasts for ever. And we hate to see a brewing company leave the PA Beer community. But that is the case as Boxcar Brewing Company in West Chester, PA has closed.

While it appears that the Brewpub is closing, we hope this doesn’t mean an end to Boxcar Brewing all together. With any luck they will still find a way to get their beer into glasses. We will update as they become available.

But for now, we raise a glass to the great people at Boxcar. We look forward to hearing about all the great memories as people begin to reminisce about Boxcar.
