Underdog is a 4.1% ABV American Lager brewed by Stable 12 Brewing Company (Phoenixville, PA). This limited release beer (a classic German style lager) was brewed in honor of the Philadelphia Eagles playing in SuperBowl LII! This beer is brewed with Pils malt, Pale malt, Munich Light, Vienna, Carmel 120 and Carmel 10. It was hopped with Saaz and Tettnang.
Pouring to a cloud amber color you’ll get a small bright white head in your glass. Aromas of malts, crackers, and some herbal hops are all noticeable.
Tasting Underdog brings mild flavors of earthy and spicy hops (true to the German hop varieties used in this beer) as well as light malts. This beer has a great body and finishes slight sweet and dry. This is the perfect tailgating beer, and of course the SUPER BOWL!
