Trendler is a 5.6% Keller Pilsner from Tired Hands Brewing Company. This beer is named after owner Jean’s grandfather, Joseph Trendler. It is brewed with wheat and hopped with citra, creating a well balanced pilsner.
Pouring Trendler reveals a clear but slightly hazy golden color with a small head and minimal lacing. Aromas of grass, lemon, fruit, and pepper are present. Tasting brings those flavors of grapefruit, pepper with some honey, with the crisp pilsner malt really pushing forward. Also present are flavors are orange, tangerine, and some wheat.
We can definitely say this is a different pilsner. It is offered in 16oz cans from the brewery and on occasionally on tap at the Fermenteria, and Brew Cafe in Ardmore PA.
