Top PA Beer Events Happening This Weekend: Jan. 5th – 7th

It’s finally the weekend! Regardless of what part of the keystone state you live in, we’ve got your weekend plans covered. Here are some of the best beer related events coming up this weekend.


Boxing and 4 for 4

Get your New Year’s resolution to be awesomer going in the right direction as Jordan Grenyion-Smith and Tania Rancourt Morelli lead a boxing inspired workout class at Blueprint Brewing in Harleysville on Saturday, Jan. 6th. Never done it? You don’t know what you’re missing! Don’t worry if you don’t know, they’ll show you a few things. They’ll also have pints of 4 for 4 session IPA on!

Weyerbacher Arts, Crafts & Drafts

Join Weyerbacher Brewery for an afternoon of painting and drinking great beer on Saturday, Jan. 6th. The event is $30 in advance and $35 at the door. The fee includes everything you need to create a paint and button canvas (your choice of design) and one beer. The bar will be open for additional drinks!


Beginners Beer Brewing Class

Ever wanted to get into home brewing? Now is your chance. Take this Beginners Beer Brewing Class at Lancaster Homebrew this weekend! Learn how to brew your own beer at home! It’s fun and easy! Meet at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Jan. 6th.

Detox Retox Yoga

With the new year comes a new yoga class! Now meeting the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month starting on January 6th at GearHouse Brewing Company. Detox Retox Yoga in the taproom with Cumberland Valley Martial Arts and Yoga Studio, a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certified instructor. $15 entry into the class includes a $5 beer ticket. Cash only. Bring your own mat. Detox Retox Yoga will continue the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month!


Beer Dinner with La Palapa

East End Brewing is teaming up with one of their favorite food vendors to ring in the New Year right with a 3 course beer dinner! It is taking place on Sunday, Jan. 7th from 6-8 PM at the Brewpub in Larimer (147 Julius Street). The menu will consists of some delicious offerings. Paired with each of the three courses will be an East End Brewing beer of course!

Owl Cafe at Threadbare Cider

Owls symbolize change. Join Threadbare Cider for Owl Cafe Sunday Brunch Jan. 7th from 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM. Humane Animal Rescue Wildlife Center will bring an Owl for education and interaction. (That’s right, a real life owl) Kids welcome! Proceeds benefit Humane Animal Rescue Wildlife Center

Schloppy Monster Double IPA Release

Join Rivertowne Brewing Friday, Jan. 5th at 5:00pm for Schloppy Monster release parties! The parties will kick off at The Pourhouse, North Shore, Rivertowne Inn, and Rivertowne Pub & Grill. You won’t want to miss this classic.
