Three Tun Citra IPA was one of two new cans released just a week ago from Locust Lane Craft Brewery (Malvern, PA). At 6.5% ABV, this single hopped IPA is part of their Experimental IPA Series. It was previously their first experimental and renamed for the can release!
Pouring to a bright golden color, you’ll see a bright white fluffy head in your glass with a lot of lacing. Aromas of bright floral citrus hit you right away as you pour this brew.
Tasting Three Tun Citra IPA brings a lot of grapefruit and floral flavors upfront. We noticed a smooth floral sweetness right away which leads to a hoppy slightly bitter finish. If this is only #1 of their experimental IPA series, we can’t wait for more to come out!
