Pipe Organ Pale Ale from The Church Brew Works

Pipe Organ Pale Ale is an American Pale Ale with 5.1% ABV from Church Brew Works located in Pittsburgh, PA. Known for their unusual location in a refurbished church, formerly St. John the Baptist Church closed its doors in 1993 before it was purchased and restored to open Church Brew Works in 1996.

Pouring to a bright orange this brew has a thin white head that releases a lovely citrus aroma. Citrus notes of orange and lemon zest come through on first sips.

A good amount of malty sweetness follows the initial citrus burst. There’s also a slight spice and hoppy bitterness on the finish.

Overall this ale is a great addition to your pale ale rotation. Balanced with a slight tilt towards malt you can enjoy this brew in just about any setting and pairs very well with most dinners.
