Pennsylvania Pale Ale is a 5.25% ABV/50 IBU American pale ale brewed by Philadelphia Brewing Company located on Frankfort Avenue in Philly.
Pouring from a 12oz bottle, you get a nice light amber/orange color with a thin bright white head. (We poured this one into a standard pint glass.)
Smells of citrus, pine, and floral hops are on the nose (dry hopped Centennial, and Amarillo), as well as a touch of malt and caramel. Tastes of Phildelphia Pale Ale bring the citrus and grapefruit hop flavors you expect, with a malty undertone. PPA is mildly bitter and has medium carbonation with a thin mouthfeel. Dry and crisp to the finish, this is a smooth pale ale to sip at 5.25% ABV.
