When it comes to craft beer in Pittsburgh, the options are starting to get better and better. Whether you’re a local looking to explore new locations, or visiting from out of town, the options are plentiful. Let us take you on a virtual brew tour of some of the newest breweries Pittsburgh has to offer that is sure to leave you wanting more.

Eleventh Hour Brewing

Our tour starts at Eleventh Hour Brewing, one of the newest choices in the Pittsburgh beer scene, and one that’s made a great impression with locals so far. They also offer a locally made mead and a cider option for those looking for something a bit different than beer. They’re still perfecting their brews here, but everyone is liking what they’re drinking so far.

One of the crowd pleasers is the oatmeal stout, so be sure to order a pint or two. Or grab a flight and try the Hidden Hammer, IPA, Belgian Blonde, Dark Ale or more of their other delicious offerings! And with a food truck there almost every day you are sure to walk away completely satisfied. But don’t eat much, because the brew tour just started!

Leaning Cask Brewing Company

Next we head up the river to a brewery that just opened in 2016; Leaning Cask, located right outside of Pittsburgh in Springdale, which is only a short trip with a limo or party bus. This destination is unique in the fact that it allows your dogs to come inside and enjoy a night out with you. Much like Eleventh Hour there’s always at least one food truck parked outside, so we hope you left some room. You’ll also have 12 different brews to choose from while here.

With a draft list including IPA’s, Ciders, Stouts, Golden Ale’s, Imperial’s and much more, there is bound to be something for everyone in your party.

Our final stop is Rusty Gold, a location that just opened this past June! We hope you left room for food, because they offer an enormous burger challenge where you’re able to enjoy a five patty cheeseburger for free if you can eat in in a half hour! The reclaimed wood interior makes the environment rustic, comfortable, and ambient.

Second to their food menu of course, is their delicious tap list. Depending the time of year you get there you will have a chance to try their Cream Ale, IPA, Oatmeal Stout on Nitro, Wheat Pale Ale and more! Also, don’t leave without trying their chicken wings and house made ranch. With such a plethora of beers to choose from and a food menu that satisfies anyone’s hunger your party is sure to end the night on a high note.
