When a new brewery opens in Pennsylvania it just warms our heart. And considering the state is growing at a historic rate keeping up with the growth can be hard. (Which is why we are here!)

On Saturday, February 24th the PA Beer market is about to get that much better with the opening of Moss Mill Brewing! Moss Mill is founded by husband and wife, Nick and Evann Rodgers, who have a passion for brewing beer. Before opening Moss Mill Nick led the sensory program in the Quality Control Department at Philly’s favorite; Yards Brewing. So he is no stranger to running a world class operation.

We met with Nick and Evann not long ago at their brewery in Huntingdon Valley and after one meeting with them it was very clear that they are all about producing high quality beer as well as supporting the community around them.

Our story started as a dream over 7 years ago. We’ve slowly graduated from the stove top, to the basement, to a dedicated brewing garage, and now we’re taking the next steps—opening up a licensed facility.

At Moss Mill Brewing we’re all about collaboration and community. We plan on leveraging both industry and community connections to brew awesome, unique, one-off beers. We source all of our ideas locally, and welcome community input into what style/flavor-combinations we should produce next. We want to share the brewing experience with everyone, and hope you’ll want to join us.
