Mosaic One Trick Pony from Stable 12 Brewing Co.

Ah hops, they’re what makes the brewing world go round, especially when making pale ales. They come in a variety of aromatic and flavor notes. Some are on the citrus side, some are fruity, others flowery and light. All brews also have different levels of bitterness, but how well can you really distinguish one from the other?

Sure you could do some hop research, but that’s hard, especially when most beers contain a combination of 3, 4, 5 or more hops. This is where Stable 12 Brewing  Co. is helping the casual drinker with their One Trick Pony series.

Previously done with Falconer’s Flight and Chinook, Stable 12 is taking the same brewing recipe then adding in a different hop for each variation. Friday, October 14th marks the release of their Mosaic One Trick Pony.

Coming in at 5.1% ABV this mosaic has a very pronounced earthy, floral aroma. Incredibly fresh tasting, you’ll notice a floral hoppiness without it being too flowery, no potpourri concerns here. Refreshing and well balanced this ale only has a hint of bitterness, leaving a refreshed drinker longing for more.
