Locked In The Trunk is an 8.1% double IPA from Levante Brewing Company (West Chester, PA). LiTT is the second iteration of this brew, only this time its a double! This beer is brewed with Belgian pilsner malts and all Citra hops.
Pouring to a yellowish/orange color, you’ll notice a nice white head in your glass. Aromas of very bright citrus and melon are immediately noticeable.
Tasting this brew brings those flavors of melon and citrus, think nectarines! There is a great smooth mouthfeel as you sip the brew, with a biscuity malt background that helps balance everything out. This is not too hoppy of a beer, however there is a little bite at the end.
