Homemade Is Best is a 6.5% ABV IPA from Stickman Brews (Royersford, PA). This beer is true to the NE style in color, juicy smell and taste, and easily one of the fan favorite IPA’s at Stickman.
Pouring to a hazy dark orange, we got a decent size white foamy head with a lot of lacing our glass from IPreferCraftBeer.com. Smells of tropical dank hops are apparent once you crack this one, we got pineapple, grapefruit, and noticed some orange and pine as well.
Tasting brings clean and bold tropical citrus flavors with that pineapple and grapefruit really shining, with a nice piney side to it as well. The mouthfeel is creamy and thick, and doesn’t finish too strong. The hoppiness is just right, making you realize why this is a favorite, it’s very drinkable.
