Hipster Catnip is a 7.2% ABV IPA by La Cabra Brewing Company (Berwyn, PA). This beer, which was recently part of a two beer can release, is brewed with Citra and Mosaic hops and a dash of specialty grain to give it that little something extra.
Pouring to a creamy and hazy yellow head this beer has notes of tropical and dank on the nose. Aromas of the Citra hops hit your senses before you enjoy the first sip.
Tasting Hipster Catnip brings flavors of tropical fruit sweetness with the bitter pine hops upfront and grapefruit and orange throughout. Juice, juniper and resin come together in an unlikely marriage of East and West Coast styles.
Hipster Catnip (along with Clement) is a part of La Cabra’s third ever can release. After tasting this beer it is safe to say they have many more can releases ahead of them!
