Guava Milkshake IPA from Omnipollo/Tired Hands Brewing Company

Guava Milkshake is the latest in the collaboration series between Tired Hands and Swedish brewing company Omnipollo.

Like it’s predecessors, Guava is brewed with oats and lactose sugar, and crazily hopped with both citra and mosaic. To get its signature flavor it was then conditioned on Madagascar vanilla beans and lots of fresh guava.

All this adds up to a delicious, hazy, guava juice bomb, coming in at 7.5% ABV. Perfectly balanced, this fruit flavor isn’t too much, and is a very smooth IPA.

Pouring to a golden yellow you will notice this doesn’t have much head, and you’ll smell guava, melon, grapefruit, and some vanilla. In addition to guava, tasting brings more tropical fruit flavors, some vanilla, and finishes a little dry.

As with every milkshake, we continue to enjoy these. If you can grab a can or two, or even a growler fill, do so and you’ll be impressed.
