Golden IPA is a 6% ABV/45 IBU India Pale Ale from Dock Street Brewing Company (Phildelphia, PA). This beer is brewed with Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops, with an addition of some oats and caramel malts as well.
Pouring to a clear bright gold with a sizable head, you will notice aromas of strong tropical fruits and citrus. Tasting brings those flavors of citrus and fruits with just a touch of pine to round it out. Medium bitterness with the hop taste lingering just a little this has a light body make this a nice summer drinking beer.
We are definitely excited now that Dock Street has a cannery open, can't wait to see what new brews they release next!
