First Rung is an 8% ABV DIPA made with orange blossom honey from La Cabra Brewing (Berwyn, PA). This beer is brewed with Azzaca, Citra, and Simcoe hops.

Pouring to a dark golden orange you’ll get a bright white foamy head in your glass. Aromas of some mango and citrus fruit, along with a little honey are noticeable. Tasting brings notes of that honey, pine and resin, some fruit notes on the front, and finishes with a dry sweetness that has a dankness to it.

We we glad to see La Cabra make their first cans, and we can’t wait to see what they can next!
