Electric 2X IPA is an 8% double IPA recently released in 16oz cans from Saint Benjamin Brewing Company (Philadelphia, PA). This beer is brewed with Pilsner, and Wheat malts, and Simcoe, Centennial, and Azacca hops.
Pouring to a bright clear gold color, you’ll get a large white head of foam in you glass. Aromas of light citrus and some nice cracker malts are noticeable.
Tasting Electric 2X brings flavors of that tropical fruit citrus you would expect, along with some great bready malt, and some pine notes.
We are excited that Saint Benjamin has started canning, and look forward to what they come out with next!
