It’s officially November, which means more cool weather, shorter days, and malt heavy beers are on their way.  Still in denial that summer is over?  Not into those malt heavy beers?  Well I’ve got something to help take away that sting; it’s Diggable from Brewery ARS of South Philadelphia.

Poured from the can comes a deep golden to light amber color with a hazy appearance that will delight hopheads. The IPA, hopped generously with Citra and Falconer’s Flight boasts of strong tropical and citrus fruit aromas that fill the room as you crack the can, and intensify when poured.  Those tropical and citrus aromas come through on your palate with a decent body that allows the grapefruit bitterness and notes of passionfruit and tropical melon to coat your palate as the beer dries on the finish.  In a sea of pumpkin beers, stouts, oktoberfests, wee-heavies and porters, this tropical IPA cuts through the mix for those still clinging to the sunshine.

Diggable is the first can release of Brewery ARS since making their mark on the Philly beer scene in December 2016.  Head over ASAP to grab a four pack of this release as it’s nearly sold out, and stick around for a pint or two… you won’t be disappointed.  Their quaint garage brewery, located at 927-29 W Passyunk Ave in South Philadelphia is a great place to stop and take in some delicious and unique saisons, seasonal ales and delicious IPAs (their Tall Climb and Broga Beer are both honorable mentions).  We look forward to what’s to come from the team at Brewery ARS as they approach their one-year anniversary.  Stay tuned for updates!
