Curveball and Splitter from Hardball Cider

Splitter/Curveball from Hardball Cider

We received an awesome care package from Hardball Cider, and couldn’t have been more excited to try them! The two ciders we sampled were Curveball and Splitter, and further below you will find more information about each one.

Hardball Cider, out of Mount Bethel PA, combines a love of apples, baseball, and family. Geoffrey Deen started the company because of his family’s history of making sweet apple cider on their farm, and his love of baseball. (Jeff was a catcher on Moravians baseball team) Geoff is the 5th generation working on the 100 acre family farm.

Their production facility is in a renovated 1831 barn. They are currently building a tasting room in there as well, and will hopefully open for business in a few months. Hardball Ciders have no artificial flavors, and are naturally gluten free, giving people more options to choose from!

Hardball cider is in ever baseball stadium in PA, and you can find a list of additional locations at which their cider is served here.

Ciders:

Curveball is a 6% abv straw-colored cider. Light, crisp, and sweet this hard cider is lightly carbonated with a hint of tartness. This cider is comparable to a sweet, white wine.

Splitter is 5.5% abv golden/amber colored cider. Sweetened with real apple cider and lightly carbonated, you’ll notice all the apple aromas and flavors. This cider drinks more like juice than alcohol.
