Crowd Pleaser is an 8.1% ABV/21 IBU American double IPA brewed by Stable 12 Brewing or of Phoenixville PA. This beer was made to satisfy all the juicy IPA lovers out there, and they didn’t disappoint. Brewed with Pilsen and Vienna Malt, Flaked Oats and lactose sugar, it’s hopped with Citra and Mosaic at about 6 pounds per barrel.
Pouring to a hazy golden color, you will notice a fluffy white head and some moderate lacing on your glass. Smells of tropical citrus fruits (mangos, grapefruit), some floral aroma, and slight pine to the nose.
Tastes of citrus and tropical fruits flood your tastebuds, but instead of being too bitter, it’s juicy and only comes in at 21 IBUs. You’ll notice some sweetness up front (we can only assume the lactose sugar), moderate malts throughout, and then you’ll experience the Citra and Mosaic hops really shining towards the end and rounding this DIPA out. Each sip has a silky smooth mouthfeel that doesn’t bite too much, leaving you wanting another 4 pack from the brewery.
