Cloudy with a Chance of Charcuterie from Free Will Brewing Co.

Cloudy with a Chance of Charcuterie is an American pale ale with 7% ABV from Free Will Brewing Company out of Perkasie, PA.

Pouring to a vibrant straw-yellow color that is plenty cloudy, a result of the lactose used in brewing and its unfiltered nature. Despite a cloudy appearance this drink is all tropical on the aroma, pineapple and other island fruit waft delightfully from the glass.

Brewed with two elite hops, Mosaic and Citra, this brew is a true juicy powerhouse with its hop forward flavor profile. Notes of grapefruit and other citrus fruits immediately come through along with an expected hoppy bitterness.

As some of the initial hop flavor begins to subside a bit of roasted malt and sweet lactose make their way in to cut into the bitterness. The finish has enough lingering bitterness and bite to add that little extra layer which rounds out an already strong IPA experience.
