Chickity China The Chinese Chicken is a 7.2% ABV IPA made by Evil Genius. Another funny name for an amazing beer, Evil Genius just never disappoints.

If you aren’t aware or weren’t around when the song was release in 1998, the name refers to a line of a popular song by The Barenaked Ladies “One Week”. It’s also just fun to say.

This version is listed as a “Harvest IPA made with Galaxy and Simcoe Hops”, this brew comes in at 43 IBUs. There is another variation which includes fresh hops and uses Citra and Mosaic.

The hops are definitely juicy in this one, balanced out very nicely with 3 types of malts (2 Row, Malted Oats, and Crystal). You’ll get all the tropical fruit flavors from the hops with a great finish.

Trying this beer once will make you seek it atleast a sixpack, trust us. So do yourself a favor and go try it…you won’t be sorry!
