C.O.B. (Coffee Oatmeal Brown) is a 8.3% ABV American brown ale brewed by Free Will Brewing Company out of Perkasie, PA.
Pouring Coffee Oatmeal Brown brings a clear mahogany color with a medium sized head that dissipates quickly.
Brewed with a pound of Speakeasy coffee per barrel, you’ll notice coffee and toffee on the nose. You will also get flavors of graham crackers, brown sugar and some great malt aromas.
Tasting brings the coffee flavors you would imagine, as well as great oatmeal and malt flavors. We also noticed molasses and caramel.
C.O.B. has a medium body, light carbonation and doesn’t taste too boozy or bitter. This beer is approachable and pretty drinkable for any craft beer lover.
