Brewery Preview: Pour Man’s Brewing (Ephrata, PA)

We recently met with the folks at Pour Man’s Brewing Co. who plan to open in Ephrata, PA this summer. We toured the location with partners Sam Son, Ryan Foltz and James Stauffer. Pour Man’s is the result of years of home brewing between Sam and Ryan; who have decided to jump into the commercial beer industry.

Currently under construction, the Ephrata location, once a former butcher shop as well as consignment store, is 3,100 square feet with seating/ room for 49 guests. Located on South Reading Road, their location is conveniently close by to multiple restaurants who plan to serve food directly to the brewery!

They initially plan to open with 5 beers on tap; a strawberry blonde, traditional stout, saison, pale ale and IPA. Plus 1 guest tap. The beer will be brewed on their 1 barrel system with the goal to grow the brewing operation as the company grows. Helping with this growth will be the fact that they intend to get their beer into nearby bars as well.

Customers can trust that the brewers behind Pour Man’s will have a very positive impact on the Pennsylvania craft beer industry. After all, their beer is award winning. Beyond the award winning beer, the bar plans to open with a full drink menu, including local wines and spirits.

Excited to see them open? See the location for yourself. We will continue to update pictures of the brewery as they get closer to opening!
