Beer Events Happening This Weekend: June 15th – 17th

It’s finally the weekend! Regardless of what part of the keystone state you live in, we’ve got your weekend plans covered. Here are some of the best beer related events coming up this weekend.

EASTERN PA

 Beer History Tasting & Trolley Tour

Celebrate Father’s Day at the historic house Cedar Grove and learn about beer brewing in early America at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Participants 21+ with ID will be offered a beer tasting. Tours depart the Museum every 30 minutes through 3:00 p.m. $25; $20 members. Includes transportation and admission to Cedar Grove.

Father’s Day Beef & Beer

Join Dorney Park at Parkside Pavilion on Sunday, June 17th from 4pm-7pm for their Father’s Day Beef & Beer buffet to celebrate Dad! Enjoy an All You Care to Eat menu including Roasted Steamship Round, BBQ Chicken Quarters, Steamed Mussels, Roasted Red Skin Potatoes and more! Plus the brand new Dorney Park-themed beers, Lazy Lager and Epic Ale, brewed specially for Dorney Park by Hijinx Brewing Company, will be available for purchase for those ages 21 years and older.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Fundraiser

Join the Suburban Restaurant and Beer Garden in Exton on Saturday, June 16th from 3-7 pm as they partner with Slyfox Brewing and Alex’s Lemonade Stand! They’ll be featuring Slyfox’s Alex’s Lemon Wheat, $1 off of each sold will go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer.

Fathers Day Brunch At New Trail Brewing

Rotunda Brewing First Can Release

On Saturday, June 16th Rotunda Brewing Co. first ever 16 oz can release of DDH Annville IPA! $20 – 4 pack, maximum four 4 packs. The release starts at 11:00 am. RBC T-Shirts & glassware available! All purchases will be at the brewery next to the Batdorf Restaurant.

All Grain Brewing Class

Join Bailee’s Homebrew supplies in York on Saturday, June 16th for their all-grain class will have a step-by-step demonstration of how to brew beer from using base grains. This class is considered advanced and they recommend brewing with extracts first, however, don’t let this deter you from joining for this particular class. You will also have the opportunity to taste beer samples as well! The class is $15 per person, which can be done online, over the phone, or in person.


WESTERN

Levity Brewing Summer Festival

On Saturday, June 16th the Summer Festival returns to Levity Brewing! The day starts with the Gingerbread Man Running Company 5k in the morning, a Cornhole tournament  in the afternoon and live music all day. Grab a burger, pulled pork nacho boat, hot dogs. There will even be a special beer release or two! Bring a lawn chair and soak in hours and hours of live music under the sun.

Millvale Food Truck Roundup

It’s that time again! Grist House, Strange Roots, and the Pittsburgh Food Truck Park are teaming up to bring you another Millvale Food Truck Roundup! Join many of the great local food trucks Pittsburgh has to offer for this event on Saturday, June 16th from 2:00 – 10:00 at Grist House.

Food Truck Rally Vol. 2

Voodoo Brewing is bringing back another epic Food Truck Rally to their brewery in Homestead! Join them Saturday, June 16th from 3pm to 8pm. For some delicious food and beer. As always the event is kid and dog friendly with free admission. Come out to enjoy good beer, good food and good vibes!
