B. I. G. Juicy by Dock Street Brewery combines both their love for legendary rapper The Notorious B. I. G. and juicy IPAs. This is one of the many fabulous offerings from their cannery that opened last June, rolling out more seasonal offerings other than their year round Rye IPA and Bohemian Pilsner that can be found on many store shelves and on tap at great craft beer bars in Pennsylvania, as well as their brewery and cannery at 50th and Baltimore Ave in Philadelphia.

The beer pours a hazy golden amber with a finger and a half of white head, leaving substantial lacing on the glass. Aromas of dried apricot, nectarine and stone fruit entice you once you crack the can open and furthermore when poured thanks to generous double dry hopping of Mosaic, Citra and Centennial hops.

Sipping on B. I. G. Juicy reveals partly where the name was derived from. Big and bright, juicy flavors of citrus and tropical stone fruit greet your palate and linger thanks to the use of oats and wheat in this beer, producing a creamy mouthfeel that is pleasant and complements the hop flavors in this Dock Street double ipa. At 8.5% this beer is remarkably smooth with a refreshingly dry finish.
