Amber Waves is a 5.3% ABV Amber ale from Voodoo Brewery (Meadville, PA). This beer is one of the great seasonal releases from Voodoo and a great representation of its style!
Pouring to a great amber color, you’ll get a pretty sizeable off white head in your glass. Bread notes, toffee, and aromas of sweet toasted caramel are first noticeable once you pour, with a little floral hops in there as well. Tasting brings bread and biscuit flavors with some fruity notes to even the taste out.
Amber Waves is a light bodied beer with moderate carbonation, smooth to drink, and has an easy finish. This is a solid beer from this style and we can’t wait to see what else Voodoo puts in cans!
