Pouring to a dark brown with a small light tan head that dissipates quickly, leaving minimal lacing. Aromas of strong cinnamon are immediately noticeable, along with nutmeg and caramel.
Tasting 22nd Anniversary brings low carbonation and a thick mouthfeel, hiding that 11%+ ABV. Flavors of that strong cinnamon, caramel, vanilla, cloves and some plum and raisin notes were also noticeable. A smooth body on this complex beer leads to a dry and spicy finish.
